JOB TITLE: DRIVER

JOB SUMMARY

The Dispatch Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery and dispatch of company products, documents, materials, and other authorized items to customers, branches, suppliers, and other designated locations. The position also assists in the proper handling, loading, unloading, and documentation of dispatched items while ensuring compliance with company policies and road safety regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely drive company vehicles to deliver and pick up products, materials, documents, and other authorized items.
• Ensure that all items for dispatch are properly checked, secured, and complete before leaving the warehouse.
• Verify delivery receipts, invoices, transfer orders, and other required documents before and after each delivery.
• Assist in loading and unloading products and ensure that items are handled properly to prevent damage or loss.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules, routes, and instructions from the Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor.
• Obtain proper acknowledgment or proof of delivery from customers or receiving personnel.
• Immediately report any delivery issues, damaged items, shortages, delays, accidents, or other incidents to the immediate supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness, proper condition, and security of the assigned company vehicle.
• Conduct basic inspection of the vehicle before use, including tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and other essential components.
• Ensure that the vehicle's registration, insurance, and other required documents are properly maintained and available.
• Observe traffic laws, company driving policies, and applicable safety regulations at all times.
• Assist the warehouse team in dispatch-related activities when there are no scheduled deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required dispatch documents.
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of company products, documents, and other items while in transit.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery & Dispatch

· Timely and accurate delivery and pickup of assigned items.

Vehicle Safety

· Proper operation, inspection, cleanliness, and care of the assigned vehicle.

Documentation

· Complete and accurate handling of delivery and dispatch documents.

Product Security

· Ensure that products and company property are properly secured during transit.

Compliance

· Follow traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least High School graduate or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle assigned. (1,2) or (1,2,3)
• With experience as a delivery, dispatch, company, or warehouse driver is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Metro Manila and nearby areas is preferred.
• Physically fit and capable of loading/unloading items when required.
• Knowledgeable in basic vehicle inspection and maintenance.
• Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends, or holidays when required by business operations.
• Must have a good driving record and comply with company rules and regulations.

Pay: Php695.00 - Php700.00 per day
