About the role

We are seeking a professional Driver to join Elim Pte Ltd in the Tuas West Region. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our warehousing, storage and distribution operations. As a Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, ensuring that our logistics network operates efficiently and reliably. This position is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction across the manufacturing, transport and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company vehicles in safe working condition, ensuring regular vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues promptly
• Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations within the Tuas West Region and surrounding areas
• Plan optimal routes to minimize fuel consumption and travel time whilst meeting delivery schedules
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured correctly and handled with care to prevent damage
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption and any incidents or accidents
• Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies whilst operating vehicles
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff and customers to ensure smooth operations
• Perform regular vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues to management
• Assist with warehouse operations when not driving, including sorting and organization of goods

What we're looking for

• Valid driving license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated
• Strong knowledge of traffic regulations, road safety standards and defensive driving techniques
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight delivery schedules
• Physical fitness and capability to load and unload goods safely and efficiently
• Clear communication skills and the ability to liaise with customers and internal teams
• A clean driving record and commitment to safety practices
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to work
