Job Summary

Keep our fleet moving and our operations on track. The Dispatch Driver plays an important role in the day-to-day flow of our rental operation by safely and efficiently transporting fleet vehicles between company locations and designated sites. Working closely with management and the dispatch team, this position helps ensure vehicles, paperwork, and supplies get where they need to be, when they need to be there.

Success in this role requires reliability, strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing operational needs throughout the day. The ideal candidate takes pride in being dependable, works with a sense of urgency, and represents the company professionally both on the road and at each location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely transport rental vehicles between company branches, airport facilities, maintenance shops, auction sites, and other designated locations.

• Execute scheduled vehicle pickups and deliveries in accordance with operational needs and management direction.

• Assist management in maintaining an organized and efficient vehicle transfer schedule.

• Consistently execute operational procedures and transportation processes as directed by management with a strong sense of urgency with a focus on positive customer service.

• Pick up and deliver location paperwork, keys, contracts, supplies, and other operational materials as needed.

• Replenish inventory at branch locations when requested.

• Inspect vehicles prior to transport for visible damage and report any discrepancies immediately.

• Wash and clean vehicles as needed prior to delivery to ensure presentation standards are met.

• Maintain communication with dispatch and management regarding delays, traffic conditions, or operational issues.

• Follow all company safety policies, Nevada traffic laws, and defensive driving standards.

• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times while operating company vehicles.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

• Minimum 18 years old to satisfy age requirement as determined by company insurance carrier.

• Ability to drive various vehicle types, including sedans, SUVs, vans, and light-duty trucks.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently as needed and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Ability to follow directions and adhere to operational procedures.

• Basic written and verbal English communication skills.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

• Reliable transportation to work and attendance/punctuality based on work schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a rental car, fleet, transportation, or delivery environment.

• Experience driving in airport garage or high-traffic environments.

• Familiarity with vehicle inspection processes.

• Basic knowledge of vehicle cleaning standards.

• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, sit and drive for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).

• Ability to repeatedly enter and exit vehicles throughout the workday, including sedans, SUVs, vans, and specialty fleet units.

• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind) as a majority of tasks are completed on the Ready Line or lot.

• Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching to inspect both the interior and exterior of vehicles.

• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 25–30 pounds occasionally (e.g., moving small equipment, cleaning supplies, etc.).

• Requires adequate manual dexterity and vision to operate handheld devices, radios, tablets, and vehicle dashboards safely and accurately.

• Ability to move quickly and safely around active vehicle traffic areas while maintaining awareness of surroundings.

• Must be able to communicate verbally in person and via radio, phone, and email with clear articulation and attentive listening.

Work Schedule

Able to work full-time, estimated 30 – 40 hours each week, on-site at our Las Vegas, NV locations.

Compensation

$13.00 - $15.00 dollars per hour, depending on previous experience and skills.
