Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and professional Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating trucks to transport goods over the road, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, compliance with DOT regulations, and excellent driving skills. The Driver will also handle truck loading and unloading, contributing to efficient logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
• Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies during daily operations.
• Manage truck loading and unloading processes, ensuring cargo is handled safely and securely.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance as required by regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to prevent accidents or violations.
• Assist with securing cargo and ensuring proper documentation for shipments.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in over-the-road (OTR) driving preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to handle truck loading and unloading procedures safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently for extended periods on the road.
• Physical ability to load, unload, and secure cargo as needed.
