Driver

Job Purpose:

To provide safe, efficient, reliable, and timely transportation of company staff, materials, documents, garments, and goods through professional vehicle operation. The role is responsible for safe city and intercity driving, proper vehicle handling, cleanliness and maintenance, personal hygiene, and compliance with all traffic, safety, and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly for official transportation and business requirements.
• Transport company staff, materials, documents, garments, and other goods to designated locations.
• Perform intercity and long-distance driving as required by the company.
• Perform daily checks of vehicle condition, including fuel, engine oil, tyres, brakes, lights, and other essential components.
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper upkeep of the assigned vehicle at all times.
• Maintain personal hygiene and a clean, neat, and professional appearance while on duty.
• Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
• Ensure timely arrival and departure according to assigned schedules.
• Safely load, transport, and unload company materials when required.
• Maintain proper records of vehicle usage, fuel, mileage, and maintenance.
• Immediately report any vehicle fault, accident, damage, or maintenance requirement to the concerned supervisor.
• Ensure all required vehicle documents, including license and vehicle papers, are valid and available.
• Maintain professional and courteous behavior with company staff, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Perform any other driving-related duties assigned by management.

Experience & Requirements:

• 10–15 years of professional driving experience preferred.
• Proven experience in intercity, long-distance, and city driving.
• Must be capable of driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Must be able to operate computerized/modern vehicles equipped with digital systems and controls.
• Experience in driving trucks, large vehicles, and heavy vehicles will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of road safety, traffic rules, and intercity routes.
• Responsible, punctual, disciplined, trustworthy, and safety-conscious.
• Must maintain good personal hygiene and a neat professional appearance.
• Ability to handle long-distance and intercity travel safely and responsibly.

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
