Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. As a key player in our transportation network, you will operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, on over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries
• Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient routing and timely deliveries across multiple destinations
• Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo safety and compliance with logistics cargo handling protocols
• Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other safety standards during all operations
• Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods following strict hazardous materials regulations
• Manage truck loading and unloading processes accurately, ensuring cargo integrity and adherence to safety procedures
• Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, inspection reports, and incident documentation in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to confirm routes, delivery times, and any route adjustments needed for optimal efficiency

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving in various vehicle types such as tractor-trailers or refrigerated trucks
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for hazmat transportation preferred; a clean driving record is essential
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles and equipment such as flatbeds or tankers is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments
• Ability to handle freight manually with care during load & unload procedures while maintaining safety standards
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with dispatchers, customers, and team members effectively
• Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks required for loading/unloading cargo in various environments

Pay: $24.79 - $29.85 per hour
