Driver

Home every night, same route, same customers, and nobody looking over your shoulder all day.

Proline Distributors is a wholesale pool and spa distributor with three branches in South Florida. Our drivers deliver to pool service techs, builders and retail stores across the area. For most of those customers, the driver is the only person from Proline they see all week — so this is a delivery job where the customer relationship actually matters.

What you'll do

• Pull and load your own route in the morning, then deliver it
• Check each order against the paperwork before it goes on the truck, and again with the customer at the stop
• Collect payment at COD stops and handle returns and paperwork
• Complete a post trip report on the truck each day and flag anything that needs fixing
• Tell the branch what you saw on the route — what customers are asking for, what competitors are dropping off
• Help in the warehouse between routes

You are responsible for your own truck and the inventory on it. Mornings are busy: trucks are out by 10:30, so the pulling and loading happen early.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Every other Saturday, 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Day shift, local routes, home every night. No overnights, no out-of-state runs, and no CDL required.

What we're looking for

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license held for more than 3 years, with a clean driving record (we review motor vehicle reports annually). No CDL required
• Able to lift and move heavy objects, some up to 100 pounds, and load and unload at customer locations and job sites
• Able to read, count accurately, do simple math and write legibly
• Reliable and on time — the morning load-out does not wait
• Comfortable enough on a computer to print invoices and look up inventory; we will train you on our system

Helpful, not required:

• Box truck or route delivery experience
• Warehouse, forklift or pallet jack experience
• Pool and spa, plumbing, electrical or building supply background

If you have run a delivery route in another industry and know how to take care of a customer at the back door, we will teach you the pool side.
