We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our team a kuhn livestock llc ! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting milk in tankers cattle and hay on various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will contribute to the seamless operation of our transportation services. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, across designated routes.
• Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure on-time deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.
• Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo integrity and compliance with logistics standards.
• Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other safety protocols during all operations.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips; report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving with a clean driving record.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements such as Tanker
• Familiarity with , flatbed trucks, tanker trucks truck and tralior combination vehicles
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and safety standards for truck loading/unloading.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently;
• Strong manual handling skills for loading/unloading cargo safely and efficiently.
• Excellent navigation skills using GPS systems; ability to plan routes effectively across over-the-road (OTR) routes.
• Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road; ability to lift heavy loads when necessary.

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
