Driver

The Driver is responsible for transporting passengers, goods, or materials safely and efficiently while ensuring proper vehicle maintenance and compliance with traffic laws and company policies. The role requires punctuality, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to transport staff, clients, or deliveries as assigned.
• Plan routes and ensure timely arrival at destinations.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs or issues.
• Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and fuel consumption reports.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers or security of goods.
• Report accidents, delays, or incidents promptly to management.
• Carry out other duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Previous professional driving experience is an advantage.
• Basic education or literacy/numeracy skills.

• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
• Basic vehicle maintenance awareness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if required.
