Job Overview:

We are seeking a Driver reporting to our Meadville, PA location. Our Drivers drive box trucks within a 175-mile radius to pick up and deliver customer work. Training will be provided but a team member with past truck driving experience is required. Company culture finds the best fit in someone who is loyal, accountable and flexible. Responsibilities of the Job:

Driver duties may include but are not limited to:

• Driving a large box truck for customer pick-up and delivery.
• No CDL required, but CDL preferred (may need CDL driver in near future).
• Valid driver's license and medical card required.
• Driving experience required in a similar or larger vehicle.
• Knows and follows federal, state, local, DOT and other applicable laws and regulations.
• Drives safely and without incident.
• Acts as a company representative and portrays a positive impression on customers upon delivery.
• Ensures proper packaging, protection and securement so that product is delivered without damage.
• Primarily Pittsburgh route but may also do NY, OH or other PA routes (all round-trip same day). Includes moving parts between our Meadville and McKean facilities.
• Willing to work on operations floor of plant when driving not needed (duties not limited to but may include racking parts, sandblasting, hardness testing, etc.).
• Can drive forklift.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to push/pull heavy dollies and hand trucks.
• Able/willing to work in hot/cold environment.
• Steel-toe shoes/boots required.

· Punctual with no past attendance issues

· Intermediate level of computer skills

· Capable of reading, comprehending and passing exams in heat treating coursework

· Forklift operation

· Able to work with basic hand tools

· Able to lift, push, pull 50 lbs.

· Able to be on feet for 8+ hours per day

· Able to work in hot and cold environment

· Wears required PPE including steel-toe boots and safety glasses

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience driving

· Experience in manufacturing or tooling industries

· Experience and/or basic understanding of heat treating principles

Compensation and Benefits:

Drivers are paid an hourly wage dependent on their skill set. Overtime is required as needed.
