Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Tractor Trailer Driver to transport axles, tires, and related equipment. This is a hands-on role that goes beyond driving—you will regularly load and unload freight using equipment and assist with other tasks when not on the road. Ideal for a CDL driver who enjoys varied work and isn’t afraid of physical labor. Most be willing to go on job sites and pick axles and tires in all types of weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver and pick up axles, tires, wheels, and related products on local and/or regional routes.
• Load and unload freight using a skidsteer and forklift as needed.
• Perform repetitive lifting of materials weighing over 50 pounds.
• Secure loads properly and complete all required inspections, logs, and paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, organized trailer and assist with warehouse or yard tasks when not driving (e.g., organizing inventory, helping with equipment, or supporting other team members).
• Follow all DOT, company safety, and customer service standards.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Willingness and ability to operate a skidsteer and forklift for loading/unloading.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds repetitively throughout the workday.
• Willingness to perform other non-driving tasks as needed when not on the road.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to perform basic paperwork/inventory records

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience hauling tires, axles, heavy equipment, or similar freight.
• Experience operating skidsteers, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment.
• Knowledge of securement best practices for large or irregular loads.

Physical Demands
This position requires frequent lifting of over 50 pounds, standing, walking, climbing, and operating machinery in various weather conditions. Willingness to work hands on picking axles and tires. Candidates must be able to perform these tasks safely and consistently.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
