About the role

ABest Express Inc. is seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our dynamic couriers, drivers and postal services team. This is a full-time position based in Bangkal, Makati City, Metro Manila. As a Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of parcels, documents and goods to customers across the Manila metropolitan area. This role is essential to our operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction and our company's reputation for excellence in logistics and courier services.

Key responsibilities

• Operating company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport parcels, documents and goods to designated delivery locations
• Planning optimal delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at all destinations whilst minimising fuel consumption
• Loading and unloading parcels and packages carefully to prevent damage and ensure proper organisation
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and obtaining customer signatures or photographic evidence of delivery completion
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition
• Following all traffic laws, safety regulations and company driving policies at all times
• Communicating with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays or issues encountered
• Providing professional and courteous service to customers during deliveries
• Reporting any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents promptly to management
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle at all times

What we're looking for

• Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle class operated (e.g., Manual or Automatic transmission licence)
• Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience in courier, delivery or logistics services
• Excellent knowledge of Metro Manila roads, traffic patterns and major delivery locations
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or accidents
• Strong understanding of road safety rules and defensive driving techniques
• Physical fitness and ability to lift, carry and load parcels weighing up to 25 kg repeatedly
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet strict delivery schedules
• Strong communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanour when interacting with customers
• Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to meeting delivery commitments
• Basic computer literacy to operate handheld devices for tracking and delivery confirmation
• Fluency in English and Filipino is preferred
