Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, disciplined, and safety conscious driver to provide efficient transportation services for the Bank’s staff and Management. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent driving skills, professionalism, punctuality, and a strong commitment to vehicle maintenance and road safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, management, and authorised passengers to designated locations as required.
• Ensure strict compliance with traffic laws, road safety regulations, and the Bank’s transportation policies.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean, presentable, and roadworthy condition.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report mechanical faults, damage, or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, fuel consumption, and other relevant activities.
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of documents, parcels, and other authorised items.
• Plan routes effectively to ensure punctuality and minimise unnecessary delays.
• Report accidents, traffic incidents, vehicle damage, and other unusual occurrences immediately.
• Protect the confidentiality of information and conversations encountered while carrying out official duties.
• Perform other driving and administrative duties as may be assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE or its equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant driving experience. Experience driving for a corporate organization is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality and integrity.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain accurate records, and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain proper personal hygiene.
• A clean driving record.
