Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver with installation experience for our delivery team in ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods. This is a 1099 contract position. This role involves working closely with helpers to load, unload, install and deliver products to various locations while maintaining high standards of safety, speed and customer service. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess strong teamwork skills, and have a positive attitude.

Duties

loading, unloading and install cargo from the vehicle.

• Help navigate delivery routes and ensure timely arrivals at each destination.
• Ensure that all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with the other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on duty.
• White glove service

Skills

• Experience in delivery driving or route driving is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial driving practices, including knowledge of heavy haul operations.
• Ability to load and unload cargo efficiently and safely.
• Experience with tractor-trailer operations is a plus.
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics processes.
• Knowledge of school bus driving or paratransit services can be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• installation experience ( i.e. treadmills, bed frames etc...)
