Driver/ Construction Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class A Truck Driver to join our team. The driver will operate commercial vehicles towing trailers to transport equipment and materials to various project locations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and a commitment to safe driving practices.

Duties

• Operate a commercial vehicle to transport products between local, regional, or long-distance destinations while following all traffic laws and company safety standards
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure mechanical safety and proper cargo handling
• Load and unload cargo safely, verifying shipment contents and delivery instructions
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and mileage logs
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly
• Comply with company policies, federal and state regulations, and safety procedures
• Assist with pipeline related construction and installation operations

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Physical stamina to handle long hours and lift cargo as needed (up to 50–100 pounds),
• Knowledge of truck driving rules, regulations, and safety standards
• Ability to operate equipment such as fork lifts
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen. Randoms are also performed

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Attention to detail and reliability in completing delivery tasks
• Experience in Oil & Gas or Pipeline construction a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60.0 – 70.0 per week
