About the role

We are seeking a Driver cum Dispatch professional to join ART FACADE SDN BHD on a contract basis. This role is based in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur and is pivotal to ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and delivery operations within the construction contracts management sector. You will be responsible for managing vehicle operations, coordinating dispatches, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and resources to our construction sites. This position combines hands-on driving responsibilities with administrative dispatch coordination, making it essential to our operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company vehicles, ensuring they are well-maintained and roadworthy at all times
• Execute safe and efficient driving to transport construction materials, equipment, and resources to designated sites
• Coordinate and manage dispatch schedules, optimising routes and ensuring timely deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, clients, and internal teams regarding delivery status and any delays
• Inspect vehicles before and after each journey, reporting any mechanical issues or damage
• Ensure compliance with traffic regulations, safety protocols, and company policies during all operations
• Assist in loading and unloading materials at construction sites as required
• Monitor and manage inventory of materials being transported
• Respond to urgent dispatch requests and adapt to changing site requirements

What we're looking for

• Valid Malaysia driving licence with a clean driving record and preferably heavy vehicle experience
• Proven experience as a driver and dispatch coordinator in the construction or logistics industry
• Strong knowledge of Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas to optimise delivery routes
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Proficient in basic computer skills and familiarity with dispatch management software
• Strong communication skills in English and Malay, both written and verbal
• Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of construction materials
• Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Reliability and punctuality with a professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
