Driver Education Instructor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching students how to drive safely and effectively, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to pass their driving tests. This role requires a passion for teaching and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-car instruction for students of varying skill levels.
• Cater to individual student driving abilities and assess accordingly.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their driving skills.
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment during lessons.
• Have the mobility to respond to emergencies in the vehicle quickly.
• Stay updated on traffic laws, regulations, and best practices in driving education.
• Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in driving with a valid driver's license with at least 2 years of experience.
• Must have at least a GED or high school diploma.
• Previous teaching or instructional experience, particularly in adult education, is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly.
• Experience working with students of various ages and backgrounds is preferred but not required.
