Candidates will be required to complete training for a NCDMV Commercial Instructor license. This will include training and passing both a written and road test administered by NCDMV.

OUR PROGRAM:

• Driver Education Instructor – Chapel Hill/Durham
• Requirement: Training for NCDMV certification
• Must hold a valid NC Driver License for a minimum of 5 years
• Background check: Federal and State
• Current clean driving record for a minimum of 7 years

Position Description:

Part-Time

Monday-Friday 4 pm-8 pm school days

Optional weekends, 7 am-7 pm on Saturdays/Sundays

Summer Hours 7am to 7pm

The minimum work requirement is 25-30 hrs a week

Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in safe driving techniques and traffic laws through behind-the-wheel training.
• To be able to consistently work the number of hours required
• Develop lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and ensure effective communication with both students and parents.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their driving skills.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and adhere to all safety regulations while teaching.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
