Driver-Foreman – Container Movement

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily container movement operations.
• Drive company vehicles/trucks as required for container movement.
• Coordinate with drivers for container pickup, delivery, and return.
• Manage Full & Empty Container movements.
• Coordinate with clearing agents, terminals, ports, and transport teams.
• Ensure timely collection and submission of Gate Passes and EIRs.
• Monitor container pickup and return activities.
• Handle road issues, breakdowns, route problems, and other operational emergencies.
• Ensure containers are delivered and returned within the required time.
• Monitor driver attendance, routes, discipline, and performance.
• Coordinate vehicle fueling, maintenance, and repair requirements.
• Maintain proper records of trips, containers, drivers, and operational activities.
• Report delays, accidents, damages, penalties, or other operational issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in container transportation/logistics.
• Experience in port, terminal, clearing agent, and container movement operations preferred.
• Valid HTV/LTV driving license, as applicable.
• Good knowledge of Karachi routes, ports, terminals, and industrial areas.
• Practical experience in handling drivers and transport-related issues.
• Ability to work flexible hours and handle urgent operational matters.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, and capable of working under pressure.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
