Key Responsibilities

* Fleet & Team Supervision: Manage, schedule, and supervise a team of commercial and heavy-duty drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies and attendance standards.

* Port Operations Management: Coordinate daily truck movements, container pickups, and deliveries within busy port terminals and container freight stations (CFS).

* Compliance & Safety: Ensure all drivers comply with port authority regulations, safety standards, and traffic laws. Monitor vehicle inspection logs and compliance documents.

* Dispatch & Route Optimization: Oversee the dispatch process, optimize routes to minimize turnaround time, and resolve logistical bottlenecks in real-time.

* Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with the maintenance workshop to report vehicle breakdowns, track routine servicing, and minimize fleet downtime.

* Reporting: Maintain daily logs of driver hours, trips completed, fuel consumption, and cargo status; report directly to the Operations Manager.

Requirements & Qualifications

* Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience working as a Driver Foreman, Fleet Supervisor, or Dispatcher within a port, maritime, or heavy logistics environment.

* Licensing: Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or heavy vehicle license; familiarity with port access passes and terminal entry protocols is mandatory.

* Knowledge: Deep understanding of container terminal operations, shipping documentation (e.g., Delivery Orders, Gate Passes), and local transport routes.

* Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and basic computer literacy (MS Office / Fleet Management Software).

* Physical Stamina & Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shifts (including early mornings or night shifts) to align with port schedules.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
