Driver/ Ground team member

Job Overview

Growing tree company is seeking Driver/Ground team members to drive tree truck and towing wood chipper. No CDL required. Clean driving record a must, bilingual a plus. Great hours and pay. Full time and immediate start for qualified candidates.

Duties

• Safely operate company vehicles, including bucket trucks and other specialized equipment, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
• Assist with tree removal, pruning, trimming, and plant care using arborist rigging techniques and chainsaws.
• Support ground crew activities such as rigging, climbing, and the use of tools for tree care projects.
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, plant pruning, and general landscaping duties.
• Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to assist with site mapping and project planning.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures diligently while working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• Proven outdoor work experience with a focus on landscaping or horticulture preferred.
• Knowledge of tree care practices, including tree trimming, pruning, and removal techniques.
• Experience operating bucket trucks or similar aerial lift equipment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with arborist rigging techniques and the use of chainsaws safely.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing trees or ladders, and working at heights.
• Growing experience in horticulture or landscape maintenance is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
