Driver - Heavy Duty / Light Duty

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate company heavy/light vehicles as assigned.
• Transport carpentry materials, furniture, tools, equipment, and finished products between the workshop, project sites, suppliers, and warehouses.
• Ensure proper loading, unloading, securing, and safe transportation of materials and furniture.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes.
• Conduct basic daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain the vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar traffic laws, company driving procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Maintain delivery/collection records and related documents as required.
• Report accidents, vehicle damage, delays, or other incidents immediately to the supervisor.
• Assist with loading/unloading activities when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Workshop/Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Valid Qatar Driving Licence suitable for the assigned vehicle category.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant driving experience, preferably in Qatar.
• Experience in carpentry, furniture, joinery, construction, or building-material transportation would be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Qatar roads and locations.
• Good driving record and strong commitment to road safety.
• Physically fit and capable of assisting with loading/unloading.
• Responsible, punctual, reliable, and disciplined.
• Basic English communication skills are preferred.

Pay: QAR1,500.00 - QAR1,800.00 per month
