Driver – Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties

• Safely operate company vehicles, including manual and automatic transmission vehicles, to transport goods and personnel as needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in driving trucks, including Hyundai H-100 or similar light commercial vehicles.
• Plan and follow efficient routes for intra-city and inter-city transportation while complying with applicable traffic and transportation regulations.
• Conduct daily and regular vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure the vehicle is safe, roadworthy, and in good operating condition.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, including checking engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, tire pressure, battery condition, lights, brakes, and other essential vehicle components.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance tasks when necessary, and promptly report major mechanical or electrical issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Coordinate with authorized mechanics or service providers for scheduled preventive maintenance, repairs, and vehicle servicing.
• Keep vehicles clean, organized, and properly maintained at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, trips, maintenance activities, repairs, and vehicle condition.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and handling goods as needed.
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying loads weighing approximately 30–60 kg as required.
• Immediately report vehicle issues, accidents, traffic violations, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow company driving policies, safety procedures, and applicable traffic laws.
• Maintain professionalism and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with employees, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 0–2 years of relevant driving experience; experience driving commercial vehicles is an advantage.
• Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicles to be operated.
• Driving Skills: Proficient in driving manual and automatic vehicles, with knowledge and experience operating trucks such as Hyundai H-100 or similar light commercial vehicles.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Knowledge of vehicle inspection, preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
• Transportation Knowledge: Knowledge of intra-city and inter-city transportation routes, regulations, and road safety practices.
• Physical Capability: Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying 30–60 kg when required.
• Interpersonal Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others.
• Work Attitude: Responsible, reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and willing to perform duties as assigned.
