Driver Helper

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Driver Helper to assist with daily delivery operations. This role involves supporting the driver in safely and efficiently delivering packages and electronic devices, including copiers and other electronic equipment. The Driver Helper will play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries, handling items with care, and providing excellent customer service. This is a paid position suitable for individuals who are organized, physically capable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with loading, unloading, and securing packages, including copiers and electronic devices.
• Help carry items to customers’ locations, ensuring safe handling of fragile or valuable electronics.
• Support the driver in navigating routes and managing delivery schedules efficiently.
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing courteous assistance and answering basic questions if needed.
• Ensure all delivered items are accounted for and properly documented.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle throughout the shift.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent damage to goods or injury to oneself and others.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy or bulky items such as copiers and electronic devices safely.
• Good physical stamina and mobility to assist with loading, unloading, and delivering packages.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Reliable transportation or means to travel between delivery locations.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate handling of electronic equipment and proper documentation.
• Punctuality and a professional attitude towards work responsibilities.
• Prior experience in delivery or assisting with electronic devices is a plus but not required.
