Role Description The Driver, in town role is a contract, on-site position based in Atlanta, GA. The driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to deliver seafood products to local customers and distribution points, following designated routes and schedules. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading products, verifying delivery documentation, invoice creation, and maintaining proper handling and temperature standards to protect product quality. The driver will interact with customers and warehouse staff, provide courteous service, and communicate any delivery issues or delays to the appropriate team members. The role also involves performing basic vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs, and complying with all traffic laws, company safety policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong driving skills and experience operating commercial vehicles for local deliveries.
• Candidates should possess a valid drivers license and a clean driving record, with some knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, including professionalism, punctuality, and respectful interaction with clients.
• Ability to lift and move boxes and seafood containers, and to work in refrigerated environments as needed.
• Reliable time management, attention to detail with delivery documentation, and commitment to safety and product integrity.
• Previous experience in food or refrigerated transport is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $300.00 - $400.00 per week
