We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Driver Instructor to join our team and play a vital role in shaping confident, responsible drivers. As a Driver Instructor, you will deliver comprehensive training to a diverse range of students, guiding them through essential driving skills, traffic safety principles, and advanced maneuvering techniques. Duties

• Conduct engaging classroom sessions on traffic laws, safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques for adult learners and teens.
• Provide hands-on instruction in standard passenger cars, motorcycles, and off-road vehicles, emphasizing safe operation and adherence to traffic regulations.
• Teach specialized driving skills including night driving, highway maneuvers, adverse weather conditions, manual transmission operation, and off-road driving techniques.
• Deliver personalized driver training tailored to individual needs, including special needs driver instruction and driver rehabilitation programs.
• Supervise practical driving lessons on the road and in simulated environments, ensuring students demonstrate proper skills and safety awareness.
• Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and document development milestones accurately.
• Maintain clear communication with clients regarding lesson plans, safety protocols, and progress updates to foster trust and motivation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in senior driver instruction with a strong background in teaching diverse age groups and skill levels.
• Excellent classroom management skills combined with effective communication abilities for engaging adult education sessions.
• Proficiency in operating standard passenger cars and motorcycles safely under various conditions; familiarity with manual transmissions is essential.
• Prior experience delivering online instruction or virtual driver training sessions is preferred.
• Ability to instruct on highway maneuvers, night driving, adverse weather techniques, traffic safety, and special needs accommodations confidently.
• Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and defensive driving principles; experience with driver improvement or rehabilitation programs is a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for working with students of all backgrounds while maintaining professionalism and patience.

Pay: $22.30 - $23.60 per hour
