About the role

We are seeking a Driver Management Manager to join Ride Blitz in South Jakarta, Jakarta on a full-time basis. This is a strategic role that plays a crucial part in our operational success. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of driver management, from recruitment and training to performance monitoring and compliance. This position is essential to ensuring our fleet operates safely, efficiently and in accordance with industry regulations. You will work on-site and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain the highest standards of driver performance and organisational compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and onboard new drivers, ensuring all candidates meet company standards and regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement comprehensive driver training programmes covering safety, customer service and operational procedures
• Monitor driver performance metrics including safety records, punctuality, customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to drivers
• Manage driver scheduling and route optimisation to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction
• Investigate and resolve driver-related incidents, accidents and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, licensing requirements and safety standards across all drivers
• Maintain comprehensive driver records and documentation including licenses, certifications and training records
• Liaise with HR and operations teams to address disciplinary issues and implement corrective actions where necessary
• Develop and promote a positive driver culture focused on safety, professionalism and customer excellence

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in driver management, transportation operations or similar supervisory role in the road transport industry
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations, driver licensing requirements and road safety standards applicable in Indonesia
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Outstanding organisational and administrative capabilities to manage multiple drivers and complex schedules
• Proficiency in driver management systems and fleet management software
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with drivers, management and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise safety and maintain high compliance standards
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Attention to detail and commitment to accurate record-keeping and documentation
• Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours when required to support operational needs
• Preferred: Experience with performance metrics, KPI monitoring and data analysis
