Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL-A licensed Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating manual transmission commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced transportation operation while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions on diverse routes, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
• Load and unload freight efficiently, utilizing manual handling techniques and logistics cargo handling skills to secure cargo properly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in accordance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all trucking standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission trucks is essential.
• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving.
• Ability to handle logistics cargo handling tasks manually, including securing loads on flatbeds.
• Understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) safety standards for commercial trucking.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on manual handling, load securement, and vehicle maintenance checks.

Pay: $1,100.00 - $1,700.00 per week
