Driver-Mechanic

QUALIFICATION

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in automotive repair, vehicle diagnostics, or related technical work.
• Strong working knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines, automatic and manual transmissions, and automotive electrical systems.
• Must possess a valid Philippine driver's license for car and motorcycle, manual and automatic.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Automotive Diagnostics & Repairs

  • Diagnose stalled, non-starting, and malfunctioning vehicles.
  • Troubleshoot engine, transmission, electrical, fuel, ignition, and cooling system problems.
  • Determine repair requirements, estimated costs, and vehicle roadworthiness.

• Vehicle Collateral Inspection

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles offered as loan collateral.
  • Assess engine condition, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, bodywork, chassis, and tires.
  • Identify signs of accident damage, flooding, tampering, and major mechanical defects.
  • Evaluate vehicle condition, estimated repair requirements, and potential resale concerns.
  • Recommend acceptance, conditional acceptance, or rejection of vehicles based on technical condition.

• Vehicle Valuation Support

  • Assist in determining the fair market value of secondhand vehicles.
  • Coordinate with the Credit Department regarding vehicle condition and potential collateral risks.

• Documentation & Reporting

  • Take pictures and document identified defects.
  • Prepare detailed vehicle inspection and diagnostic reports.
  • Maintain accurate service, inspection, and repair records.

• Registration and Maintenance

  • May be assigned to process the encubmrance and dis-encumbrance of collateral assets
  • May be assigned to process the annual registration of vehicles and other compliances with LTO
  • May be assigned as driver for key personnel
