Driver- Messenger

About the role

Triton Constructions Development Corporation is seeking a reliable and professional Driver-Messenger to join our team in Manila City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our operations within the Mining, Resources & Energy sector. As Driver-Messenger, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services whilst managing important deliveries and communications across our business units. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth flow of operations and maintaining our commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, maintaining strict adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Transport company personnel, materials, and documents to designated locations in a timely and professional manner
• Deliver packages, reports, and communications to internal departments and external stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance schedules
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and identify any mechanical issues
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers and recipients, representing Triton Constructions Development Corporation professionally at all times
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials and equipment as required
• Report any vehicle defects or accidents promptly to management
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organisation of the assigned vehicle
• Support ad-hoc administrative duties and errands as directed by management

What we're looking for

• Valid professional driver's licence (Class 1, 2, or 3) with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a driver in a professional or corporate environment
• Excellent knowledge of Manila City and Metro Manila road networks and traffic conditions
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
• Professional demeanour with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong commitment to safety protocols
• Physical fitness to safely lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 kilograms
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting is advantageous
• Previous experience in the mining, resources, or energy sector would be desirable
