Driver / Mobile Wash Operator

Job Title: Driver / Mobile Wash Operator

Location: Thunder Bay, ON Pay: CA$20.00 – CA$28.00+/hr (fast-track pay increases based on independent performance) Position Type: Full-Time / Part-time (35-40 hrs/week), including some weekend operational windows

About the Role: Superior Soft Wash is looking for a self-motivated, dependable individual to take charge of a mobile wash unit. You'll work on fleet washing (transport trucks/trailers), residential soft-washing, and heavy equipment cleaning across Thunder Bay. We provide the vehicle, professional gear, and full training — you bring the work ethic and reliability. Ideal for someone who thrives working independently.

What we're looking for (most important first):

• Reliable and punctual — this matters more to us than prior experience
• Valid Ontario G license, clean driving record
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round
• Willing to work some weekend windows (this is when most fleet clients are available)
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus, not required — we'll train you on equipment, chemical ratios, and safety from day one
• Prior trailer-towing or trades experience is a bonus, not a requirement

What we offer — tiered pay progression:

• Training Rate ($20–23/hr): systems, chemical ratios, safety, equipment
• Independent Operator ($24–27/hr): fully autonomous execution
• Lead Technician ($28+/hr): long-term top performer, equipment caretaker, and trainer
• Year-round, stable employment — no seasonal layoffs
