DRIVER RISK MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

UE LINE INC is looking for an experienced Driver Risk Management Specialist to join our Safety Department.

Full-Time | 1099 | On-Site | Elgin, IL

This position is focused on identifying high-risk driver behavior, conducting effective driver coaching, and preventing FMCSA/CSA violations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review daily dashcam and unsafe-driving events
• Conduct daily driver coaching calls
• Review video footage directly with drivers during coaching
• Coach drivers on speeding, following distance, seat belts, lane restrictions, distracted driving, traffic-control violations, and other unsafe behaviors
• Identify repeat and high-risk drivers
• Provide corrective actions and follow up on driver performance
• Document all coaching sessions and maintain accurate records
• Escalate repeated unsafe behavior when necessary
• Track coaching effectiveness and measurable driver improvement
• Help reduce Unsafe Driving BASIC violations and overall fleet risk

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous trucking safety experience is REQUIRED
• Previous CDL driver coaching experience is REQUIRED
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA, CSA and Unsafe Driving BASIC
• Experience reviewing dashcam/telematics safety events
• Motive and/or Samsara experience preferred
• Strong communication and driver-management skills
• Must be proactive, organized, assertive, and results-driven

THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION.

We are looking for someone who understands that driver coaching is not simply making calls or closing events. The goal is to change driver behavior, prevent violations, reduce risk, and produce measurable safety improvements.

1099 POSITION | EXPERIENCED TRUCKING SAFETY PROFESSIONALS ONLY

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
