Driver Shuttle (Linehaul)

What's The Role:

We're seeking an experienced Linehaul Driver to join our team who is experienced in higher combinations, to drive a 30m B-Double. It is an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport needs.

Lindsay Transport is Australia's largest fresh produce transporter, delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centres. Roster:

Higher Combination: Monday - Friday | 10pm Nightshift

Shuttle Linehaul: Based out of Erskine Park Depot

This role will be paid at a higher rate due to the length of trailer.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Safe Always - Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
• Temperature Sensitive Freight - working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.
• Customer Service - Interacting with customers in a professional manner.
• Teamwork & Communication - Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
• Good Work Ethic - Reliable, supportive and the ability to have a go!
• Quality Checks & Control - Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery of paperwork.

What You'll Bring:

• Current and valid MC driver licence to perform the above-mentioned role.
• Preferred experience in High Combinations or Road Train experience.
• Previous Commercial Driving Experience detailed in your resume.
• Current BFM, preferred but not essential.
• A safe driving record, you will be required to provide a copy of your driving history.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Strong customer focus with good communication skills.
• Well presented, professional and reliable.
