Delivery Driver Job Description

Eden Tyre Sales is looking for an experienced Delivery Driver & Warehouse Assistant to join our distribution team at Codnor Gate Industrial Estate, Ripley, Derbyshire.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining approximately 70% delivery driving with 30% warehouse duties, delivering tyres to our retail branches and wholesale customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete multi-drop tyre deliveries safely and efficiently
• Load and unload tyres from supplier deliveries and distribution vehicles
• Prepare and organise stock ready for deliveries
• Ensure deliveries are accurate and completed on time
• Carry out vehicle checks and follow health and safety procedures
• Support general warehouse duties as required

Requirements:

• Full, valid UK driving licence
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling
• Confident driving and completing multiple deliveries each day
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous delivery driving or warehouse experience necessary

Working Hours:

• 44 hours per week
• Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
• Saturday: 6:00 am – 1:00 pm (on a rota basis)
