Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining accuracy in deliveries
• Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about products, and promote upselling opportunities to enhance sales
• Perform heavy lifting when loading and unloading merchandise, ensuring proper merchandising and placement at delivery sites
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered
• Organize daily delivery schedules and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs

Experience

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred
• Strong math skills for pricing calculations, measurements, and inventory management
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
• Experience in sales or upselling techniques is a plus, demonstrating initiative in promoting products or services
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving or standing
• Organizational skills for managing routes, deliveries, and documentation efficiently
• Military background is advantageous for discipline, route planning, and safety awareness

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
