Driver/Installer

Empire and Co. | Driver/InstallerBuild. Travel. Install. Bring Spaces to Life.

Looking for a job where you’re not stuck behind a desk every day? Want to travel, work with your hands, operate large vehicles, and see the finished results of your work?

Empire and Co. is looking for a Driver/Installer to join our Maryland team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in getting the job done right. You’ll hit the road, operate large box trucks, deliver furniture and FF&E to project locations, and transform empty spaces into fully furnished environments.

No two days will look exactly the same. You’ll work at different job sites, travel to new locations, collaborate with installation teams, and see your work come together from delivery to final setup.

If you’re dependable, mechanically inclined, comfortable with physical work, confident behind the wheel, and excited by the idea of frequent travel, this could be a great opportunity for you.

What You'll Do

• Drive company vehicles, including 26-ft box trucks, to deliver furniture, fixtures, and equipment to project sites
• Travel frequently to different locations, including overnight and out-of-state trips
• Load, secure, transport, unload, and safely handle furniture and other products
• Install, assemble, position, and arrange furniture and accessories at project sites
• Work with installation teams to bring completed spaces to life
• Lead and assist helpers on job sites to keep projects moving efficiently
• Work directly with project teams, contractors, customers, and other partners
• Make sure products arrive safely and are installed accurately and professionally
• Complete delivery paperwork, inventory documentation, and other project records
• Perform vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns
• Help with warehouse operations when you're not on the road
• Represent Empire and Co. professionally at every project location

What Makes You a Great Fit?

We're looking for someone who likes to stay busy and wants a career that's more than just driving from Point A to Point B.

You might be a great fit if you:

• Have experience driving a 26-ft box truck or other large vehicles
• Enjoy working with your hands and figuring out how things go together
• Have experience in furniture installation, moving, construction, warehouse operations, delivery, or a similar hands-on environment
• Are comfortable being on the road and traveling frequently
• Don't mind overnight or out-of-state travel
• Take pride in being reliable, organized, and safety-conscious
• Enjoy working as part of a team but can also work independently
• Are comfortable lifting and moving furniture and materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Have a CDL? While not required, it's a plus.
