Driver/Laborer- Bilingual

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver/Laborer who is bilingual to join our team. This role involves operating vehicles to transport materials and assisting with various labor tasks on-site. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a physically active environment and possess strong communication skills in both English and Spanish to effectively interact with team members and community members. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our organization’s operations while engaging in diverse daily responsibilities.

Duties

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, equipment, or personnel as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies, tools, and other materials.
• Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying ladders and equipment, and general site cleanup.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients in both English and Spanish to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations.
• Support project sites by setting up equipment and performing miscellaneous labor duties.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during transportation activities.

Requirements

• Must have valid drivers liscense and good driving record
• Must speak English and Spanish fluently
• Must be able to pull reel trailers and/or other trailers as needed

Experience

• Previous experience as a driver or laborer is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to facilitate communication within diverse teams and with community stakeholders.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is necessary.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions accurately are essential qualities for success in this role.

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
