Driver/Laborer

Lotspeich Co. of Florida, Inc. is seeking to hire a responsible Delivery Driver/Laborer to safely and efficiently deliver construction materials to our job sites and customers. This position requires candidates who are physically fit, possess excellent driving skills, and have a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Construction materials may include but are not limited to the following: drywall, drywall mud, metal framing studs, acoustical ceiling tiles & grid, insulation, wood framing studs, and plywood.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to different addresses/job sites
• Loading/unloading box trucks
• Safely operate 14'-26' Box Trucks
• Follow routes and time schedules
• Heavy Lifting - weight 50 lbs. & more
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Must be available to work over-time when needed
• Stocking, moving material into and within the job site
• Clean job site when required
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Delivery Driver (Building materials preferred)
• Valid Florida Driver License
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent customer communication skills both written and verbal
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
• Positive attitude, punctual, dependable
• Basic computer knowledge, including but not limited to Outlook and data retrieval is a plus

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
