Driver/Loader

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and have experience in various driving roles, including delivery and commercial driving. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles, and vans. The Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles for the transportation of goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any issues or delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company positively at all times.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Skills

• Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues effectively.
• Experience in warehouse operations, including loading and unloading procedures.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is required.
• Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including large vans .
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
