Driver/Logistic Aide

The Driver/Logistic Aide is primarily responsible for providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services in support of the Company's operations. The role includes transporting employees, delivering documents, materials, and equipment, assisting with logistics-related activities, and ensuring that company vehicles are properly maintained and operated in compliance with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Safely load, transport, and deliver documents, materials, equipment, and other items to clients, suppliers, business partners, or designated locations in a timely manner.
2. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials, equipment, and other items to ensure their safe handling and delivery.
3. Review Delivery Receipts and other delivery documents before and after each trip to verify the accuracy and completeness of deliveries and obtain the necessary acknowledgments.
4. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicles and promptly report any defects, damages, or maintenance requirements to the Immediate Supervisor.
5. Ensure assigned vehicles are kept clean, roadworthy, and in good operating condition at all times.
6. Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes while utilizing navigation applications to determine the safest and most efficient route.
7. Strictly comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies while maintaining a safe driving record.
8. Pick up office supplies, company purchases, and other administrative or operational requirements as instructed.
9. Inspect returned vehicles for any damage, missing accessories, or other issues and immediately report findings to the Immediate Supervisor.
10. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work areas, company vehicles, and designated operational sites.
11. Provide logistical and operational support as may be required to ensure the efficient delivery of company services.
12. Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Immediate Supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications:
-Physically fit and in good health condition

-At least 1–2 years of proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver

-Must possess a valid Professional Driver’s License with restriction Code D or higher

-With good driving record and no major traffic violations

-Knowledgeable in road safety regulations, traffic laws, and defensive driving practices

-Familiar with basic vehicle troubleshooting and preventive maintenance (checking tires, oil, brakes, etc.)

-Able to communicate clearly and professionally, especially when handling delivery concerns, delays, or route changes

-Willing to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays when required

-Responsible, trustworthy, and able to handle cargo with proper care

-Familiarity with Metro Manila and nearby provincial routes is an advantage
