Duties

• Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to transport goods and equipment to designated locations
• Assist with loading, unloading, lifting, and manual handling of furniture, boxes, and other items using proper techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks
• Ensure adherence to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and safe driving practices during route driving
• Coordinate with team members to load and unload materials efficiently while maintaining safety protocols for heavy lifting and manual handling
• Use mobile devices or GPS systems to navigate routes effectively and ensure timely deliveries or moves
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries or moves, including delivery logs and incident reports when necessary

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or moving services with a focus on customer service excellence
• Valid driver’s license or appropriate driving credentials for box trucks or vans; experience with manual transmission is a plus
• Strong knowledge of traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance, and safe lifting practices
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to workplace weight handling standards
• Familiarity with material handling equipment and manual handling tools
• Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members
• Demonstrated ability to follow route instructions accurately and operate mobile devices for navigation or documentation purposes

Pay: $13.00 - $22.00 per hour
