Duties

• Assist drivers with loading and unloading packages, ensuring safe manual handling practices are followed
• Support route driving by helping to navigate and manage delivery schedules effectively
• Help with the safe loading, securing, and unloading of cargo using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when certified
• Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) safety standards during all driving activities
• Interact professionally with customers during delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
• Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update logs, and communicate with the team efficiently
• Participate in warehouse operations when not assisting on routes, including moving materials and maintaining a clean work environment

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred
• Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving or delivery driving; experience with box trucks or vans is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, including manual handling of packages and materials
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (certification preferred)
• Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe driving practices for route driving and delivery vehicles
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Comfortable working with mobile devices for route management and documentation
• Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly while following safe lifting practices

Pay: $26.60 - $34.42 per hour
