Driver/Shift Leader

Report to: Assistant Managers/General Manager

Job Summary: In-shoppers are responsible for greeting customers when they enter and exit the restaurant, provide world-class customer service while executing fast and accurate sandwiches while maintaining a hospital clean environment.

Responsibilities include all procedures within the restaurant including sandwich preparation, veggie preparation, opening/closing procedures, shift change paperwork, slicing and training new hires.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Greets customers and takes orders- operates cash register- collects payment from

customer and makes change.

 Makes fast, accurate, and consistent sandwiches

 Trains new employees utilizing Fast Track and accompanying paperwork

 Executes systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness

 Ensure that every customer receives world-class customer service

 Completes daily food preparation (opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing,bread production)

 Completes Closing Procedures

 Completes daily and weekly paperwork

 Receives and stores product

 Audits previous shift’s systems and procedures for 100% integrity and completeness

 Completes preventative maintenance and upkeep on store’s equipment and supplies

 Complies with all the portion sizes, recipes, and all systems and procedures

 Maintains cleanliness and sanitization of the restaurant including all tables, floors,

windows, beverage station, restrooms, etc.

 Takes phone orders and completes delivery tickets

 Maintains professional appearance at all times in compliance with the Jimmy John’s

Dress Code

 Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments

 Performs other related duties as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 If in a customer contact position, must be able to communicate the English language

 Position requires bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, repetitive motions, cognitive skills, standing and moving about the unit

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 Must have the stamina to work 50-60 hours a week

Special Requirements:

 Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as business dictates within the

confines of the law

 Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision

 Ability to handle and resolve customer threats and issues

 Ability to handle and resolve employee issues

 Skills to use a personal computer and various software packages (Word/Excel)

 Ability to handle stress and high-volume operations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour
