We provide a company car for all driving lessons and cover all gas and maintenance expenses. We will provide a $500.00 signing bonus for those that possess a current and valid California DMV Driving Instructors license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and informative driving lessons tailored to individual student needs, including beginner drivers and those seeking advanced skills
• Develop and utilize instructional materials to enhance learning experiences and reinforce key driving concepts
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to help students improve their driving techniques and build confidence
• Manage in-car instruction effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment that promotes safety and engagement
• Assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly to meet learning goals
• Maintain accurate records of lessons, student progress, and assessments in compliance with licensing regulations
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, or guardians about progress, safety tips, and next steps in the learning process
• Maintain accurate records of mileage

Requirements

• Valid driving instructor certification/license as required by the California DMV
• Proven experience working with diverse learner groups, including children, teens, and adults
• Strong coaching skills to create a safe and focused learning environment
• Excellent communication skills for clear instruction and feedback
• Experience developing instructional materials or lesson plans for driver education or related fields
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
• Must be at least 21 years old
• High School diploma or GED
• Live Scan Background Check
• Clean DMV Driving Record
