About Us

We are a licensed Texas driving school dedicated to helping teens and adults become safe, confident, and responsible drivers. We provide classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction that prepares students to meet Texas driver education requirements and successfully obtain their Class A Driver License.

Position Summary

We are seeking a professional, patient, and safety-focused Driving School Instructor to provide classroom and behind-the-wheel training for teen and adult drivers. The instructor will educate students on Texas traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, and safe vehicle operation while preparing them for written and road examinations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach Texas-approved driver education curriculum.
• Provide behind-the-wheel instruction to teen and adult students.
• Prepare students for permit and driver license examinations.
• Educate students on Texas traffic laws, road signs, defensive driving, and safe driving practices.
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate student records and training documentation.
• Conduct pre-drive safety inspections of training vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with all Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requirements and school policies.
• Promote a positive, professional, and safe learning environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid Texas Driver License.
• Have a minimum of five (5) years of driving experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting requirements as required by Texas regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively with teenagers and adults from diverse backgrounds.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Texas Driver Education Instructor License.
• Previous driver education, teaching, coaching, or training experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
