Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive driving lessons for students in standard passenger cars, motorcycles, and off-road environments, emphasizing safe driving techniques and traffic regulations.
• Deliver classroom-based instruction on traffic safety, defensive driving, highway maneuvers, adverse weather driving techniques, and motorcycle safety.
• Provide personalized coaching tailored to individual learner needs, including teen drivers, adult learners, and those requiring special needs driver instruction.
• Lead practical training sessions covering manual transmission operation, night driving, highway navigation, and driver rehabilitation programs.
• Assess student progress regularly, offering constructive feedback to enhance their skills and confidence behind the wheel.
• Maintain detailed records of lessons delivered, student performance, and compliance with licensing standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure clarity of instructions and foster a positive learning environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in senior driver instruction with a strong understanding of traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Excellent classroom management skills combined with hands-on teaching experience in both physical and online settings.
• Proficiency in operating standard passenger cars and motorcycles safely across various conditions including adverse weather and night driving scenarios.
• Ability to instruct on highway maneuvers, off-road driving techniques, defensive driving strategies, and driver improvement programs.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with diverse learners of all ages and backgrounds.
• Knowledge of working with students requiring special needs accommodations or adult education programs.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere strictly to traffic regulations while providing clear guidance on safe driving practices.

Pay: $19.51 - $22.27 per hour
