Duties

• Conduct engaging and informative driving lessons tailored to individual student needs, ensuring they develop safe driving habits.
• Demonstrate proper vehicle control, traffic laws, and defensive driving techniques through hands-on instruction.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills and confidence.
• Manage classroom activities when teaching theory components, including road rules, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance basics.
• Maintain detailed records of each lesson, student progress, and any incidents or concerns.
• Communicate clearly with students, parents, or guardians about learning goals and areas for improvement.
• Ensure all lessons are conducted in compliance with local traffic laws and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
• TDLR Driver's Education License, preferred. (Training available!)
• Proven ability to teach effectively: Patience, interpersonal skills, friendly.
• Strong classroom management skills to create a positive and disciplined learning environment.
• Experience in adult education or classroom instruction is highly desirable but not required.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly explain concepts and provide guidance.
• Ability to work well with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and best practices for driver education.

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 80.0 per week
