Driving Instructor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating students on safe driving practices, traffic laws, and vehicle operation. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to manage a classroom environment while providing hands-on instruction behind the wheel. The Driving Instructor will play a crucial role in preparing students to become responsible and confident drivers.

Duties

• Educate students on driving techniques, road safety, and traffic regulations through both classroom instruction and practical driving sessions.
• Communicate effectively with students to ensure they understand the material and can apply it in real-world scenarios.
• Manage classroom activities, ensuring a productive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their driving performance, helping them improve their skills and confidence.
• Assess student progress and readiness for driving tests, providing additional support as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance throughout the training program.
• Stay updated on changes in traffic laws and best practices in driver education.

Skills

• Strong ability to educate diverse groups of students effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Experience in adult education is preferred, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to various learning styles.
• Proficient in classroom management techniques to maintain an organized and focused learning environment.
• Previous experience working with students in a teaching or instructional capacity is highly desirable.
• Ability to drive safely and instruct others in vehicle operation with patience and clarity.
• Familiarity with classroom settings and educational tools that enhance the learning experience.
