Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive driving lessons tailored to individual student needs, focusing on safety, traffic laws, and practical skills.
• Assess each learner’s progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to them and their parents to enhance their driving abilities.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging environment during both in-car instruction and classroom sessions.
• Prepare students for licensing exams (both knowledge and skills) by reviewing key concepts, demonstrating techniques, and simulating test scenarios, and administer the same exams
• Ensure all lessons adhere to local traffic regulations and safety standards at all times.
• Keep detailed records of each student’s progress, attendance, and lesson plans for compliance and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Be at least 25 years old
• Have a valid SC drivers license (or equivalent and willingness to transfer)
• Have at least 5 years of licensed driving experience with no suspensions
• Submit to a nationwide criminal background check
• Afternoon and weekend availability

Preferences

• Previous teaching or instructing experience
• Driving Instructor Certification
• Bilingual (Spanish)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
