Dropout Cut-Out Production & Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Engineer responsible for overseeing the manufacturing, production operations, quality control, and maintenance of electrical dropout cut-outs. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge of production processes, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the production process of electrical dropout cut-outs to ensure efficient operations and achievement of production targets.
• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and process improvements.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to approved technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in production equipment and minimize machine downtime.
• Monitor production efficiency, material consumption, wastage, and rejection rates.
• Ensure quality inspection and testing of finished products in accordance with applicable standards.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Stores, Procurement, and other relevant departments to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Maintain production and maintenance records, including downtime reports, maintenance schedules, and daily production reports.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and applicable electrical and industrial standards.
• Lead and guide production staff and technicians to achieve operational targets.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical equipment manufacturing, production, and maintenance.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of dropout cut-out manufacturing, assembly, testing, quality control, and production machinery maintenance.
• Maintenance Expertise: Experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and production reporting systems.
